Askey Precision Engineers are looking for an experienced CNC Machinist for their Day shift. This role will based in the Wednesfield, West Midlands manufacturing site.

Position description

An experienced CNC Machinist/Setter/Operator working days shifts is required to carry out various CNC machining responsibilities from Programming, setting turning and milling.

Responsibilities

This role will be working as part of small team within the precision machining company carrying out varying duties of Askey Precision to an exceptional standard to meet the needs and demands of our valued customers.
You will be required to work on our Haas (as well as others) and be confident in programming/setting CNC milling.

You will also need to be flexible to support the business and carry out other duties as required to meet the demands and needs of the business.

Requirements

Haas Experience
Haas/Fanuc programming preferred .Worked within a Subcontract environment
CNC Turning and Milling experience essential
Apprenticeship in Mechanical Engineering CNC Machinist or proven experience in the workplace with either structured and / or demonstrable experience
