Machined Fabrications are looking for experienced General Machinists for their Day shift. The roles will be based at the Dudley manufacturing site. Experienced Machinists working day shifts are required to carry out various machining responsibilities, which include: Setting, Manual Milling and Boring.

Skills

Small/Medium Manual Milling and Boring Experience
Small/Medium Manual Turning Experience
A good understanding of Engineering Drawings, which include: Machining Symbols, Tolerances and Geometric Tolerances
Ability to check own work using measuring equipment (Micrometers, Slip Gauges etc.)
Worked within a Subcontract environment
Apprenticeship in an engineering workshop, Machinist, or proven experience in the workplace with either structured and/or demonstrable experience

Duties

This role will be working as part of a small team within a precision sub-contract machining company. You will be required to work on our Manual Milling machines, Lathes and Horizontal Borers and be confident in Setting, Manual Milling and Boring. You will also need to be flexible to support the business and carry out other duties as required to meet the demands and needs of the business.
